Niklynn Bryant Dunn was honored on January 29, as he became the 50th Eagle Scout for Troop 472. His brother, Nathan A. Dunn, also an Eagle Scout, assisted in Niklynn’s ceremony. [Full Story »]

Young Harris College sophomore English major Blake Ogden, tuba, and freshman music major Caitlin Davis, trumpet, both graduates of ACHS will perform at the Young Harris College Wind Ensemble concert Tuesday, Feb. 22, at 7:00 p.m. in Glenn Auditorium of the Clegg Fine Arts Building on the Young Harris College campus. According to Police Chief James Godfrey members of the Baxley Police Department were kept busy answering calls of unknown persons entering automobiles in the Oak Ridge subdivision.
