Pamela Cranford, 53, of Macon, died Friday, Dec. 16, 2011 at Regency Hospital in East Point. Pamela was a native of Surrency and had lived in Jones County for the past eight years. She attended Highland Hills Baptist Church in Macon. Mrs. Cranford was retired from the Laurens County Board of Education. She was preceded in death by her father, Willie Virgil McCall.
Survivors include her husband, the Rev. Glynn Cranford of Macon; one daughter, Katie Cranford of Macon; one son, Garrett (Jena) Cranford of Duluth; her mother, Hilda McCall of Surrency; two sisters, Kay (Neil) Eunice of Bristol and Trish White of Surrency and several nieces and nephews also survive.
Funeral services were held at 11:00 a.m. Monday, Dec. 19 at First Baptist Church with the Revs. Jim Dant, Tommy Jordan and Keith Alderman officiating. Interment followed in Miles Chapel Cemetery.
Active pallbearers were Lance White, Josh Gay, Daniel Lampp, Anthony Ball, Jordon Ball and Bob Tanner.
Honorary pallbearers were all in attendance.
Musical selections were rendered by Elaine Black, Jimmy McCall and the congregation.
Arrangements were under the direction of Swain Funeral Home.
