Judge E. M. Wilkes, III opened indictments on twenty-three subjects in Appling County Superior Court on Dec. 9. The following subjects and their indictments are given.
-Johnny Mack Bryant - Cruelty to children, second degree, battery, family violence-two counts and cruelty to children, third degree.

-John Allison Butler – Aggravated assault and obstruction of an officer.
-Gregory Lamar Byrd – Solicitation of sodomy of a child under 18 and child molestation.
-Jamie Daniel Clance – Terroristic threats, two counts and harassing phone calls, two counts.
-Jamie LaVaughn Eason – Burglary.
-Joshua Edwin Odum – Burglary.
-Richard Anthony Poole – Burglary.
-Sharlene Heller – Robbery by sudden snatching.
-Jazmin Travece Williams – Robbery by sudden snatching.
-Madison Coreena Hughes – Aggravated assault.
-Tony Howard Melton – Aggravated assault.
-Melanie Kersey Miles – Neglect of a disabled adult.
-Jackie Ray Strickland – Neglect of a disabled adult and theft by deception.
-Gregory Brett Morris – Aggravated assault, burglary and cruelty to children – third degree.
-Jeffrey Gordon McKinney – Burglary.
-Christopher Aaron O’Berry – Aggravated child molestation, child molestation and enticing a child for indecent purposes.

-Matthew Aaron Pate – Burglary – two counts.
-Steven Dewayne Pearsey – Possession of cocaine WID, possession of marijuana WID, possession of cocaine, possession of marijuana less than an ounce, obstruction of an officer – two counts and driving while license is suspended.

-Tyrone Simmons – Terroristic threats, cruelty to children – second degree, harassing phone calls and aggressive driving.
