Consuelo Plascencia and Gerardo Xoqui are proud to announce the birth of their daughter, Meredy Xoqui. Meredy was born Sept. 16, 2011 at Appling Healthcare System. She weighed seven pounds and was 19 inches long at birth. Dr. Catherine Jackson-Evans was the attending physician.

Maternal grandparents are Maria Plascencia and Matias Plascencia. Paternal grandparents are Maria Xoqui Martinez.

Meredy was welcomed home by her proud big brother, Fernanda.
