Staci Renee Penwell and Glenn Liston Carter, Jr. are proud to announce the birth of their daughter, Kensleigh Mykell Carter.

She was born Oct. 13, 2011 at Appling Healthcare System. Kensleigh weighed five pounds, 11 ounces and was 20-1/4 inches long at birth. Dr. Catherine Jackson-Evans was the attending physician.

Maternal grandparents are Claude and Kathy Penwell.

Paternal grandparents are Glenn Liston Carter, Sr., Susan Carter and Vickie Carter.

Kensleigh was welcomed home by her sister, Makaylin.
