Johnson and Hunter to wed on St. Simons November 19
Dr. and Mrs. Keith W. Johnson are proud to announce the engagement of their daughter, Whitney Lauren Johnson, to John Paul Hunter, son of Rickey and Annette Hunter and Mike and Allison Flory of Broxton.
The bride-elect is the maternal granddaughter of Betty Ruth Manning and the late James C. Manning of Jesup. Whitney’s paternal grandparents are Shelvia Jean Johnson and the late Charles “Runt” Johnson.
The groom-elect is the maternal grandson of the late Brownie McLeary and John McLeary of Baxley. John’s paternal grandparents are Lorene Hunter and Donald Hunter of Baxley.
Whitney is a 2007 honor graduate of Appling County High School and a 2010 cum laude graduate of Mercer University Stetson School of Business with a major in business. Whitney attends the Walter F. George School of Law, Mercer University, Macon.
John is a 2004 graduate of Appling County High School and is employed with Welding Services Inc.
Whitney and John will exchange vows in a private wedding ceremony on St. Simons Island on November 19. The couple will reside in Macon.
