Ashley Hobbs and Jason Gilliard of Blackshear proudly announce the birth of their son, Alixander McCoy Hobbs. 

He was born at 8:30 a.m. on October 4, 2011, and weighed six pounds and 10 ounces.  He was delivered by Dr. John Crane at the Appling Healthcare System.  Alixander joins older brothers, Braidyn Perkins, age 5, and Conor Hobbs, age 3.  Alixander is the grandson of Lori and Jackie Johnson of Brantley and Ellen and Cary Gilliard of Douglas.
