It really proved to be true as Jeb’s Chokes, with co-owner, Bobbye Sears Jr., shooting won the world’s championship in Edgefield, S.C., in the hunters’ class at the NWTF on Oct. 1, 2011. The choke tubes are precision made and the company owners are Jimmie Washam, Jr., Egan Washam and Bobby Lewis, Jr. They all live in Hazlehurst.
The boys are extremely proud of their achievement, as both Bob and Jimmie are big into hunting and fishing. These choke tubes are custom-built to fit different guns and come in a polished or camo style.
After 39 months of research, Jimmie hit his goal and the company is now up and running.
Jimmie’s mother is Odessa Washam of Baxley and Bob’s parents are Mr. and Mrs. Bob Sears, Sr. of Hazlehurst.
Both you boys better watch out for little Egan – “He’s the next big thing”.
You can also read the stats in the May issue of Georgia Outdoor News.
Congratulations, Bobby, Jimmie and Egan!
