The Appling County Pirates traveled to face the Tattnall County Battle Creek Warriors (3-4, 2-2) on Friday, October 14 and were able to get the win, despite terrible officiating, by a score of 32-23. With the win the Pirates are now 7-0 on the season and 4-0 in Region 2AA. The Pirates will try to stay unbeaten as they travel to Long County to face the Blue Tide (0-7, 0-4) on Friday, October 21. The game is scheduled to begin at 7:30 p.m.
