Barnes and Erwin to speak November vows
Mr. and Mrs. Mark T. Barnes of Baxley announce the engagement and forthcoming marriage of their daughter, Whitney Elaine Barnes, to Jon Ramon Erwin, son of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Erwin of Jesup, formerly of Baxley.
Whitney is the maternal granddaughter of Cecile Daniel and the late Herbert A. Daniel, Sr. of Claxton and her paternal grandparents are Barbara Barnes and the late Thomas J. Barnes of Baxley.
Jon is the maternal grandson of Milford and Hattie Kumm of Osmond, Nebraska and the paternal grandson of Alice Erwin and the late Orpheus Erwin of Osmond, NE.
Whitney is a 2006 graduate of Appling County High School and a graduate of Valdosta State University with a BSED in Middle Grades Math and Science. Currently she is employed by the Pierce County Board of Education.
Jon is a 2006 graduate of Appling County High School. Currently he is employed by NeSmith Chevrolet in Claxton as a master technician.
The couple will exchange their vows before family at a ceremony in November.
