Kenneth Lawrence Clifton
Kenneth Lawrence Clifton, 62, died Thursday, August 25, 2011 at his home in Jacksonville, Florida. Ken was born Oct. 13, 1948 in Jeff Davis County to the late William and Ella Pearl Clifton.
He grew up in Lumber City then moved to Jacksonville, FL in 1964. He worked for Jefferson-Smurfit, now Rock 10, for over 38 years. Mr. Clifton had a great love for the outdoors, especially hunting and fishing.
Survivors include his son, James Lawrence Clifton; one sister, Lynda Heying (Ron); nieces, Suzanne Singer and Monica Thrower and other loving relatives and wonderful friends.
Grave side services were held at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, August 30 at Riverside Cemetery in Lumber City with the Rev. David Deen officiating.
Arrangements were under the direction of David E. Miles Funeral Home.
