This week the Appling Christian Academy Eagles played the Augusta Eagles at Eagle Field at Crossties. This was the first time ACA played this team and did not know anything about them. But ACA came out with a 58 to eight victory.

Eagles defeat Augusta 58-8
ACA had a really good defensive game. The leading solo tackler was five by John McLemore. The next was Zach Carter and Cameron Carter with four solo tackles. The leading tackler for assists was Cameron Carver with nine. The next was Zach Carter with seven and Cole Livingston with six.
ACA also had a good offensive game scoring the most points so far this season. Andrew Phillips had eight carries for 170 yards, Dallas Johnson had 12 carries for 51 yards, Ben Hiers had seven carries for 42 yards and John McLemore had five carries for 27 yards. Brandon Horton had four out of nine passes complete for 90 yards.
