Hand family reunion to be held

The annual Hand family reunion (of which many family members are from Appling County) will be held Saturday, Sept. 10 at Philadelphia Baptist Church in Jeff Davis County.

Registration will begin at 10:30 a.m. in the church social hall, followed by a short family/business meeting. A covered-dish lunch will be served at noon; please bring your family favorites. Join in as we celebrate this long-standing tradition and meet and greet both old and new family members and friends. Everyone is welcome to attend.
