During the weeks of August 29, through September 9, Appling County Middle School, Appling County Elementary School, Altamaha Elementary School, Fourth District Elementary School, and Appling County Primary School will send out their parental involvement policies that will be in effect for this current school year. Each policy or plan is developed by parents, teachers, and administrators to increase parent participation and promote parent-school interaction. Parents need to sign the attached letter to the policy to verify that the policy has been received.
The signed letter needs to be returned to the child’s teacher. Additionally, a copy of each school’s parental involvement policy is given to parents on each school’s Title I-A Curriculum Night at the beginning of the school year.
