James Mincey
James Mincey, 75, died Saturday, August 13, 2011 in Bacon County Hospital. He was born in Appling County on March 19, 1936 to the late John and Pearl Crosby Mincey and he has lived here most of his life. James was retired from Hazlehurst Mills.
Survivors include one sister, Myrtice Elmore of Baxley and a special niece, Hilda Bryant of Baxley and several other nieces and nephews.
Funeral services were held at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, August 16 in the chapel of David E. Miles Funeral Home with the Rev. Dennis Bryant officiating. Interment followed in Midway Church Cemetery.
Active pallbearers were Paul Arredondo, Robbie Harden, Danny Jones, Owen Herrington, Carlis Hand and David Kersey.
Honorary pallbearers were all friends attending the funeral service.
Musical selections were rendered by Christine Mansfield.
Arrangements were under the direction of David E. Miles Funeral Home.
