Eagles tame Hurricanes

The Appling Christian Academy Eagles took to the field Friday night for the first game of their regular season against the Coastal Christian Hurricanes from Savannah.

The game was held at Eagle Field and the local squad easily breezed past Coastal Christian 42-0. Coach Keith Wiggins said that the team played very good in the season opener. The Eagles will be on the road next week traveling to Skipstone Academy in Griffin.
