Norma Jane Baxley
Norma Jane Baxley, 48, died Friday, August 5, 2011 at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Savannah. Mrs. Baxley was a native of Appling County and was born Oct. 18, 1962 to the late Herbert James and Orita Carter Thomas. She was a member of Midway Baptist Church.
Survivors include her husband, Michael “Bo” Baxley; son, Jason Baxley; two stepchildren, Michael Jon Baxley and Brandy Deloach; five sisters, Kathy Russell, Arnie Sue Crosby, Mary Spell, Gail Hollifield and Lajuan Perry; two brothers, Jim Thomas and Joel Ray Thomas, all of Baxley; other close friends and relatives, Angela Roberts and family, Richard Russell, Tyler Beach, Brenda Brantley and Mecia Torres.
Memorial services were held at 2:00 p.m. Monday, August 8 at Midway Baptist Church with the Revs. Wayne Williamson and Marty Anderson officiating.
Musical selections were rendered by Floyd Hunter and Tyler Beach.
Arrangements were under the direction of Swain Funeral Home.
