Roy Aubrey Reynolds
Roy Aubrey Reynolds, 81, died Tuesday, August 9, 2011 at his residence. Mr. Reynolds was born to the late Tommy B. Reynolds and the late Beatrice Long Reynolds June 25, 1930 in Baxley and resided here most of his life. He was retired from the United States Air Force after 20 years and was Master Sergeant. Mr. Reynolds served in the Korean and Vietnam Wars.
Survivors include his wife of 53 years, Carolyn Courson Reynolds of Baxley; two sons, Richard E. Reynolds of Baxley, Thomas M. (Lynn) Reynolds of Orangeburg, S.C. and Dennis J. (Tammie) Reynolds of McDonough; one brother, Dupree Reynolds of Hazlehurst and eight grandchildren also survive.
Funeral services were held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, August 12 in the chapel of David E. Miles Funeral Home with the Rev. Rick Brown officiating. Interment followed in Georgia Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Glennville. Full Military services were provided at the Georgia Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Glennville. Robins Air Force Base provided active pallbearers.
Musical selections were rendered by the Rev. Rick Brown.
Arrangements were under the direction of David E. Miles Funeral Home.
