Undercover operation results in arrests
Chief of Police James Godfrey reports that on July 26, at approximately 10:00 a.m., officers from the Georgia Bureau of Investigation, the Altamaha Drug Task Force, and the Baxley Police Department, served arrest warrants on the residents of 39 Waldon Street and 598 Fair Street. The warrants are a result of several months of undercover operations.
Arrested was Pattie Lynn Taylor, 38, of 39 Waldon Street and Frankie Brianna Williams, 18, of Apartment 7 on 598 Fair Street. Both Taylor and Williams are charged with one count each of sale of Schedule II narcotics and are in custody in the Appling County Detention Center where they are currently awaiting further judicial proceedings.
