What about the people you meet, come in contact with from day to day? We all need one another. Let’s wake up - it is inventory time! Let’s take inventory on our lives and see what way or where we need to make a change. Rule out hatred, envy, jealousy, strife, malicy, greed and prejudice.
Do you know what? Our children are watching us, what we do, they do, what we say, they repeat. Their lives are in our hands. Let’s wake up people. The sun is still shining, rain is still falling, and wind is still blowing, which man has no control of. Can’t we see that God is in control and He holds the future?
What are we doing for the betterment of our children’s future, are we asleep? If so we are sleeping in a dangerous time. The Word says in Proverbs 22:6 - Train up a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not depart from it. Also Proverbs 23:13 says withhold not corrections from a child; if thou beatest him with a rod he will not die.
There are changes that need to be made are we concerned about our children and their future, the seniors, the middle class and the less fortunate? Christ wants us to welcome and bring comfort to those whom society ignores. God challenges us to make a difference in the lives of those who are in need. He chose what is foolish in the world to shame the wise: He also chose what is weak in the world to shame the strong. (1 Corinthians 1:27 NRSV)
We need to take inventory on our lives. We are playing the name game, pointing fingers toward all races, creeds and gender. If we point our index finger at someone, we need to look at what direction our thumb is pointed. (At ourselves).
God is angry and He is not pleased with us or our way of life.
We’ve had and heard of tornadoes, earthquakes, hurricanes, mudslides, floods and hailstorms. You know what? We are facing fire this time. Look around us, the heat is getting unbearable! Who controls it?
God our Heavenly Father is still on the throne and has total control. So we need to take inventory on our lives before its too late. Love is the key that unlocks every door. Think about it.
To God be the Glory,
A concerned citizen,
